Research Associate/PostDoc/Sr. Res. Associate positions are available immediately in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Miami Miller Medical School. The research focuses on the mechanisms of neuropathic pain and opioid abuse with gene therapy supported by the NIH funded projects. The positions open to recent PhD and/or MD with background in molecular biology, histology/imaging, or a related discipline. Priority to applicants with skills of Animal Surgery of nervous system/pain-related Behavioral Testing/Neuropharmacology, Genomic/Epigenetic, Exosome, luciferase assay, ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, gene cloning, DNA damage and repair etc. is given. Applicants with Master degree and strong background related to this research skill are also available. The title may be changed based on experience.
