ABOUT
The University of Michigan, School of Information seeks foreign-born population for an interview study. We want to understand how foreign-born people use social media applications after moving to the U.S. This study will help us design future social applications and services.
DETAIL
The study will be a one-on-one interview, which will be about one hour. You will be talking about your experience using social media and developing social network after moving to the U.S. You will receive $15 per hour (extra $2.5 for every additional 10 minutes) as the compensation. The interview can be either face-to-face or via a video conference call. Your personal information will be secured and only the research team members can access the data.
CRITERIA
Over 18 years old and came to the U.S. after 18 years old
Basic English ability (daily conversation level)
You are not using B-1, F-1, J-1 Visa
